What can you do now, that we've been practicing our money skills that you couldn't do before?
The last few weeks we have been learning how to identify coins, their values, how to skip count same kind coins, and how to skip count mixed coins. To wrap up our learning, we had fun mixing in some economics learning by talking about consumers, producers, goods, and services too. Each child created a "billboard" to advertise their business and had to decide whether to sell a good or service. Then the consumers walked up and down our Main Street buying items they chose. Lots of great coin counting practice went on!
